DENISE STEFFEL
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
Denise Steffel is currently serving as the CFO for the Odawa Economic Affairs Holding Corporation (OEAHC). She has over 29 years of financial industry experience which includes extensive background knowledge in several key areas, such as: Front and Back Office Operations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Risk Management (ORM). In addition, she is a current tribal citizen of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians (LTBB). She has successfully led and championed the implementation of several invaluable efficiencies for the financial industry around risk mitigation, cost-savings and regulatory reporting requirements.  Denise completed undergraduate work at Southwestern Michigan and Saint Petersburg’s College. She is an active participant of two financial industry member committees. She currently possesses multiple financial industry license.She and her husband reside in Florida, and she has two adult boys that live in Dallas, Texas. In her spare time, she likes going to the beaches, traveling, golfing and spending time with her family and friends.  Denise is honored to part of this board to help support the continued development of the holding corporation which will provide future growth and opportunities to all LTBB citizens, and our surrounding communities.
