SHANNA SHANANAQUET

Shanna Shananaquet, Tribal Citizen of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and Executive Director for the Odawa Economics Affairs Holding Corporation, serves at the pleasure of the Tribal Council. Shanna has over ten years of experience with companies of various sizes and industries, particularly with business start-ups, marketing campaigns, and infrastructure development. Over Shanna’s career, she has spent time in many capacities, mainly serving Indian Country. Shanna has served in many leadership roles, management, and ownership of a small business. Shanna joined the Odawa Economic Affairs Holding Corporation in 2020, and the corporation since then has developed quickly and continues to diversify its economic portfolio. Shanna is very passionate and supportive of continuing, to promote Tribal sovereignty, growth opportunities, and delivering value to the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, Tribal nations, and the local community. Shanna lives with her husband and children in Petoskey, Michigan. She enjoys attending her kid’s sporting events and participating in outdoor activities. Shanna is very active within the Tribal Community participating in cultural and traditional customs.
